This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of our surgical units, ensuring exceptional care and compliance with healthcare standards. The coordinator will facilitate smooth patient flows, manage nursing staff, and collaborate with surgeons to enhance surgical procedures and outcomes. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and leadership skills, aimed at fostering a top-tier surgical environment. Coordinate operations and staffing for surgical units. Implement and monitor compliance with healthcare policies and regulations. Assist in the development and execution of patient care plans. Liaise between surgical teams and other medical staff. Conduct regular staff reviews and training sessions. Manage resources and materials needed for surgery procedures. Ensure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures and healthcare regulations Ability to handle stressful situations and make informed decisions Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred CNOR certification is a plus
