Daily Tasks:
* Organize daily orders to insure correct on-time shipping.
* Communicate with various departments on varying topics related to
shipping/warehousing.
* Work closely with planning team to achieve 100% customer
satisfaction and zero customer incidents.
* Verify availability of material required for shipment
completion.
* Proactively conduct analysis in warehouse systems to identify
reasons behind potential shipment delays and execute corrective
action.
* Communicate to warehouse personnel all shipping requirements.
Other Workplace Considerations:
* Lifting products/materials up to 40 pounds in weight.
* Standing, walking, bending and twisting, as required to complete
job tasks.
* Must be willing to work a first shift (Monday - Friday) and
extended hours, including some Saturdays, as needed.
* Must be able to communicate in English, both verbal and
written.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
* 1+ years of warehouse, shipping or supply chain experience.
* 1+ years of customer service experience.
* 1+ years of Microsoft Office Applications experience. (Word,
Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Must be able to communicate in English, both verbal and
written.
* Good computer skills and keyboard proficiency.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Warehouse management systems such as SAP, AS400, Red Prairie,
etc.
* Bilingual - English/Spanish, is a plus
