Position Description:As a Dry-Van Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspections and repairs to trailers. Responsibilities:

• Perform semi-trailer DOT inspections
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues
• Troubleshoot and repair ABS issue
• Repair all maintenance items on trailer, replace wheel seals, brakes, leaf springs, air bags, brake chambers, etc.
• Repair all structural and non-structural damage to the trailer, patch holes in roof or roof replacement, duraplate panel repair or sectioning or replacement, top and bottom rail repairs or sectioning or replacement, etc.
• Able to do service calls after hours and weekends Skills and Qualifications:
  • Welding experience preferable
  • Three years of general dry-van trailer repair experience
  • Able to work on computer
  • Have own tools
  • Have valid driver's license and be available for a rotation of on-call hours
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, push/pull, reach, and lift up to 60 lbs.
