Under supervision of the Manufacturing Facilitator or designee the Third Shift (9:30pm to 5:30am) Formulation Helper, weights, records and documents ingredients used in manufacture of Bactec Culture media.

Maintains laboratory equipment in good operating conditions (balances weighing, accessories, stirrers, etc.) Follows QSR, ISO, safety and environmental regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

* Following approved procedures and using calibrated laboratory equipment, weights or verifies to be used in the production of Bactec products.
* Accurately records all data required by production documentation following QSR and ISO regulations.
* Follows good laboratories practices and maintains formulation area and equipment in good conditions.
* Follows and ensures housekeeping regulations are followed in accordance to procedures and notifies of any deviation.
* Interprets weighing and formulation instructions on products Batch Records. Calculates proportions of ingredients following approved procedures. In coordination with the formulator follows the production schedules to comply with departments production requirements. Applies common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal forms.
* Active participation in Lean Activities.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

* Six to twelve months in formulation and weights.
