Do: - Change the lives of those in your care! The Training
Coordinator, Community Corrections is responsible for the proper
implementation and compliance with American Correctional
Association (ACA) training standards, company policies and
procedures, and regulatory contracts and standards. -
- Develop and maintain employee training files, documenting all
individual employee pre-service and in-service training in
accordance with company policy and procedures and ACA
standards.
- Plan, develop, direct, coordinate, schedule, conduct, and
facilitate staff training to ensure compliance with company policy
and procedures, licensing, certifying, and accrediting
agencies.
- Develop training lesson plans for each subject approved for
staff training and update as necessary.
- Maintain tracking files for employee training hours.

- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a
Bachelor's degree in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Public
Administration, or related field required.
- Two years related work experience preferred.Additional years of
related experience may be substituted for the required education on
a year-for-year basis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to use good independent judgment when making decisions
required.
- Experience in Microsoft Office or other similar software
applications is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Minimum
Age Requirement: - Must be at least 18
