*******NOTE: This job is in Anthony, TX, US**********************************Description:Assembles building material components such as roof and floor trusses. Processes include insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts and use of both hand and power tools.Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds. Plans and implements the assembly of roof and floor trusses by reading and understanding set-up sheets, drawings or blueprints.Become familiar with the truss plate inventory system and proper truss plate placements.Learn proper timing and procedures for clearing cut lumber from the saw areaLearn procedures for stacking and banding trusses to reduce the risk of damage or breakage during loading, transport and unloadingSkills:manufacturing process, measuring tape, constructionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:1 plus years experienceConstruction experience preferredContractors will need to wear work boots, safety glasses, take their own hammer and measuring tape, gloves and knee pads.Must be able to get on and off truss tablesKneeling and hammering most of the dayMust be able to stand and walk all dayFast paced environmentExperience Level:Entry Level About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
