You'll focus on delivering holistic, integrated care to improve the quality of life for our kidney patients. You'll work autonomously and in collaboration with all members of the healthcare team to coordinate and facilitate quality, consistent, cost-effective care.Position Details* El Paso area clinic rounding Nurse Practitioner-NP* Great Work-Life Balance- Monday-Friday schedule-*Self-managed*.* Full-Time* Competitive pay* Excellent Benefit package* CME reimbursement* Paid License renewals & many other benefitsRequirements* Current license to practice in the state of practice* Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license required or eligible to obtain within 90 days of hire* Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification* Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)* Preferred experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), or experience in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nephrology or Case Management* Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of chronic patients required* Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Outlook required* Spanish-speaking preferred, but not required* Must be willing and able to complete home visits as neededDaVita Integrated Kidney Care (DaVita IKC) is an the integrated care division of DaVita Inc. working on DaVita's vision to provide integrated care to all ESRD patients, who are some of the most medically complex and vulnerable patient populations in the US.
