the-art and we are preparing for a major expansion. Admiral Cable
Factory is seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Wire Operator &
Assembler to support the production of high-quality multi-wire
cables and harnesses used across industries such as aerospace,
automotive, telecommunications, and electronics. This dual-role
position involves both machine operation and hands-on assembly
work, contributing to the creation of complex cable systems with
precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience
in machine operation, a strong understanding of wire processing,
and a commitment to quality and safety standards. Duties Machine
Operation (Multi-Wire Operator) Set up and operate stranding,
bunching, extrusion, or braiding machines to produce multi-wire
cables according to specifications. Monitor machine performance to
ensure proper wire twisting, alignment, and tension. Perform
regular quality checks, including elongation testing and wire gauge
measurements. Conduct routine maintenance such as cleaning,
lubrication, and minor repairs to minimize downtime. Handle and
transport heavy wire spools and reels safely. Log production data
accurately and report any issues to supervisors. Assembly &
Fabrication (Multi-Wire Assembler) Read and interpret work orders,
blueprints, and schematics to determine assembly requirements. Cut,
strip, crimp, and route wires to build custom wire harnesses and
cable assemblies. Attach connectors, terminals, and components
using soldering irons or crimping tools. Test finished assemblies
for continuity, integrity, and compliance with specifications.
Apply protective tubing or sealants to safeguard cables from
environmental damage. Operate specialized tools such as wire
strippers, crimp presses, and inspection devices. Process
Monitoring & Adjustment Monitor machine parameters such as twist
speed, tension, and strand alignment. Adjust settings to meet
product specifications and ensure consistent output quality.
Quality Assurance Conduct regular inspections of bunched wire for
defects, elongation, and conductivity. Document and report quality
metrics in accordance with control plans. Production Handling
Remove completed wire reels and prepare them for the next stage of
manufacturing. Maintain accurate records of production runs,
including lengths, specifications, and quantities. Maintenance &
Troubleshooting Perform routine maintenance tasks including
cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Identify and report
equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly. Collaboration &
Communication Work closely with supervisors, quality control, and
maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow. Participate in
continuous improvement initiatives and training programs. Essential
Skills Machine Setup & Operation : Skilled in configuring and
running wire bunching machines for consistent output. Mechanical
Aptitude : Capable of basic troubleshooting and understanding
mechanical systems. Wire & Cable Knowledge : Familiar with wire
gauges, conductor types, and cable specifications. Attention to
Detail : Ensures uniform twisting and strand alignment to meet
quality standards. Process Monitoring : Adjusts machine settings
like tension and speed to maintain product consistency. Inspection
& Documentation : Performs quality checks and maintains accurate
production records. Safety Awareness : Follows safety protocols and
identifies potential hazards. Routine Maintenance : Conducts
cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to reduce downtime.
Collaborative Mindset : Works effectively with supervisors, quality
control, and maintenance teams. Clear Communication : Reports
issues and shares updates to support smooth operations. Physical &
Work Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up
to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a factory environment with
exposure to noise and moving machinery. Willingness to work shifts,
including evenings or weekends as needed.
