Sky Transportation Services, Inc., a leader in North American freight and shipping services, seeks a Dedicated CDL-A Company Driver to join our professional team. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our dedicated customer base. As part of our team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for operational excellence and unparalleled service. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to various destinations within assigned routes Maintain accurate and timely logs of trips using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations staff to report any issues or delays and to receive route assignments Follow all company policies regarding safety procedures and traffic laws Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all delivery documents are properly processed Proven ability to operate a commercial heavy vehicle Strong time management and log-keeping skills Knowledge of applicable safety and driving regulations Ability to navigate efficiently and adapt routes as needed Good physical condition to manage manual loading and unloading when required Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) Current DOT physical examination (medical card) HazMat and Tanker endorsements preferred
