Job Description:
Sky Transportation Services, Inc., a leading provider in the
logistics and transportation sector, is seeking an experienced
Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our
operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely
and efficiently across North America, utilizing state-of-the-art
vehicles and technology. By joining our team, you will contribute
to our mission of delivering top-tier logistics solutions, ensuring
that freight reaches its destination on schedule and in perfect
condition. Operate commercial vehicles including trucks with a
capacity of at least 26,001 pounds per gross vehicle weight. Plan
route logistics to meet delivery schedules, making adjustments for
traffic and weather conditions as necessary. Maintain communication
with dispatch and respond to calls as required while adhering to
company policies and regulatory guidelines. Comply with truck
driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations,
parking, break periods, etc.) as well as with company policies and
procedures. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
and perform preventative maintenance. Document and log work/rest
periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
Report defects, accidents, or violations and follow accident
procedures correctly. Proven work experience as a long-haul truck
driver or similar role. Ability to drive long hours and travel
regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules
and regulations. No driving disqualifications with the last 5
years. Skills in minor vehicle repair. Experience with electronic
equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Medical

Valid truck driving license (CDL – Class A). Certification from a
professional truck driving school. DOT medical card.
