Job Description:

Inventory and Cycle Count Specialist - $16.30/HOUR A company in Santa Teresa, NM needs an Inventory and Cycle Count Specialist. The Inventory and Cycle Count Specialist is responsible for verifying the inventory accuracy of our raw materials, WIP and finished goods. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to, the following: 1.) Responsible for taking manual physical inventory counts 2.) Completes all system scheduled counts daily 3.) Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments 4.) Troubleshoots inventory problems and reports inventory issues that require immediate attention to appropriate personnel 5.) Perform spot-checks as needed on inventory 6.) Verify put-away and transfer process performed by the Material Handlers 7.) Coach and train team members on inventory procedures 8.) Actively works with cross functional teams to improve inventory accuracy 9.) Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages and inventory discrepancies 10.) Perform root-cause analysis on variations and work with necessary individuals to ensure that variances do not occur again. 11.) Work with other departments across the organization.
