with Flagstone Foods.Position SummaryThe Plant Human Resources (HR)
Team is responsible for providing overall HR support to plant
employees and plant leaders and for leading employee and community
engagement on behalf of Flagstone Foods. HR support includes the
following functional areas: recruiting, benefits and leave of
absence administration, payroll, employee relations, workers'
compensation, training and development, policy implementation,
employment law compliance, and staffing/recruiting.Essential
Functions--- Administer various human resource plans and procedures
for plant personnel; assist in the development and implementation
of personnel policies and procedures.--- Respond to employee
relations issues, e.g., employee complaints, and escalate to HR
Manager as needed; assist in guiding and coaching managers during
the employee disciplinary process.--- Assist employees with general
benefit related inquiries.--- Lead health and wellness
initiatives.--- Lead hourly recruiting efforts.--- Partner with
staffing agencies on temp hiring.--- Coordinate/conduct new hire
orientation.--- Lead compliance training and develop reports as
needed.--- Assist in creating and facilitating training and
development opportunities for workforce.--- Coordinate and maintain
employee recognition program.--- Conduct stay and exit interviews
to drive improvements within the organization.--- Maintain
compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and
regulations including unemployment claims and EEO-1 reporting.---
Maintain human resource information system records through entering
new hires, status changes, and terminations; compile employee
reports as needed; maintain employee filing system.--- Payroll
backup.--- Comply with all food safety requirements, training,
policies, and procedures.--- Perform other job-related duties as
assigned. Qualifications (Education/Experience)--- Bachelor's
degree in human resources, business administration, or related
area--- 7+ years of experience related to the job responsibilities
described above.--- Problem-solving and analytical skills; ability
to apply judgment and initiative in HR-related activities. ---
Diplomatic, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
--- Strong client-service focus and willingness to adjust approach
and persevere to gain buy-in from key stakeholders and deliver
results.--- Experience providing data and business insight to
support recommendations.--- Demonstrated ability to collaborate
with a team and build and maintain relationships at multiple levels
and across multiple office locations.--- Strong organizational
skills including the ability to prioritize and negotiate deadlines
with multiple stakeholders.--- Knowledge of employment law.---
Bilingual in English and Spanish--- Experience in using HRIS and
applicant tracking systems. --- Strong computer skills with special
expertise with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.Physical
