Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Las Cruces, NM Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,448 to $1,648 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Las Cruces, NM. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them improve mobility and function under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Active New Mexico PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred. Demonstrated competency with transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and basic mobility equipment such as walkers and Hoyer lifts preferred. Minimum of 1 year of recent hands-on PTA clinical experience preferred. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift: Days. Shift hours: 8 hr days.
