Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Silver City, NM Agency: Bluebix Health Inc Pay: $38 to $40 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a healthcare team in Silver City, NM. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help patients recover, improve mobility, and manage pain. This is a 13-week contract role with a consistent day shift schedule. Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist Help patients improve strength, balance, and coordination Educate patients on exercises and home care routines Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and progress Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment Support patients with equipment and mobility devices Requirements Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license Ability to work day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Strong communication and patient care skills Knowledge of therapy techniques and rehabilitation practices BLS/CPR certification preferred Team-oriented with a compassionate approach to patient care Benefits Competitive pay: $38 – $40/hour 13-week contract assignment Stable day shift schedule Overtime opportunities Weekly pay Supportive and professional work environment Opportunity for contract extension and long-term placement
