Schedule: 2426 hours physician coverage daily (89 hour shifts); 8
hours APP coverage on Mon, Tue, Fri FACILITY INFORMATION Reason for
Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Annual ED Volume: 15,000 Trauma
Level: IV ED Beds: 16 (4 for lower acuity) Subspecialty Coverage:
Cardiology, Imaging, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Orthopedics,
Pulmonology, Urology, Stroke Center EMR: Cerner Additional
Services: 24 hours daily scribe coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
Hospital Privileges Required: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active
TX Medical License, DEA (with TX address) Board: Board Certified in
ABEM PEDS (or osteopathic equivalents) Certifications: ACLS, ATLS,
PALS Additional Requirements: 2 years CME records, 2 years case
logs, education & training diplomas, SS card, driver's license,
color photo, immunizations (TB, Flu, Hep B, MMR, Varicella), annual
8 hrs Stroke CME and 8 hrs Trauma CME, must complete in-person EMR
training before first shift DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide acute
emergency medical care in hospital setting Collaborate with APPs
and subspecialty teams
