Job Description Community hospital looking to bring on Nurse
Director Risk! Relocation! Manage risk identification, avoidance,
and mitigation by collaborating with all levels of leadership,
provider, front end staff and other stakeholders. Manage the
evolving needs of active litigation cases to include
investigations, interviews, depositions, gathering of legal hold
records and other needs as determined by legal counsel. Responsible
for training leaders, providers and various hospital staff on the
risk management program and reporting of incidents. Serve as the
Compliance and Ethics Officer for the facility. Reports to CEO.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. MSN,
Healthcare Administration, and MBA strongly preferred. 5 years’
healthcare experience with at least 3 years’ experience in a
leadership role. Prior acute healthcare risk management experience
is preferred and can substitute for the leadership experience.
Experience working in a for-profit hospital is strongly preferred.
Must possess strong human relations and interpersonal skills.
