Job Description:

HCA Healthcare, a leading national healthcare services provider, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Medical Oncology to join our compassionate team. This role will focus on providing top-notch care to cancer patients, supporting them through their treatment journey at one of our advanced oncology units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, managing symptoms related to cancer treatments, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Administer chemotherapy and other medications following oncology protocols. Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on treatment expectations, side effects and health maintenance during and post-treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and report any pertinent changes in patient condition to oncologists. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care. Participate in professional development opportunities and stay abreast of advances in oncology nursing practices. Proficient in chemotherapy administration Strong patient assessment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Committed to ongoing professional education and development Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred but not required Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
