We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a locum
tenens assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity begins on Feb 9,
2026, with a 50-day contract covering 8 or 12-hour swing shifts
(11a–11p or 4p–12a). The ideal candidate will have a strong
background and recent experience in emergency medicine. Job Details
Location: New Mexico Start Date: Feb 9, 2026 LOA: 50 days Provider
Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Schedule:
11a–11p or 4p–12a; 12-15 swing shifts per month Responsibilities
and Duties Provide acute care to patients in the emergency
department Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergency
medical conditions Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team
members to deliver high-quality care Interpret diagnostic tests and
initiate appropriate interventions Document patient encounters
accurately and thoroughly Respond promptly to critical situations
and prioritize patient care based on acuity Additional Information
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New Mexico required
Emergency Medicine background and recent experience required Must
have Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification
(AGACNP-BC) and Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
