Location: Alamogordo, NM 88310 (near White Sands National Park)/n -
Assignment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel Registered Nurse/n - Unit:
Acute Med/Surg (medical-surgical nurse)/n - Start Date: April 6,
2026/n - End Date: July 5, 2026/n - Duration: 13 weeks/n - Shift:
12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)/n - Schedule: Full-time; every
other weekend or 5–6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule/n - Hours
per Week: 36/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,950 - $2,060 per week/n -
On-Site Position: Hospital-based acute care RN role/n
/n/nQualifications & License Requirements/n /n - Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or an active Nurse Licensure
Compact (NLC) state/n - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from
the American Heart Association (AHA)/n - Minimum 1 year of recent
Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience (medical-surgical nurse
preferred)/n - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred/n
/n/nKey Responsibilities (Med/Surg RN / Acute Care RN)/n /n -
Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care using the
nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and
evaluation/n - Administer medications and treatments per protocols;
monitor for side effects and therapeutic effectiveness/n - Document
patient history, clinical findings, medications, treatments, and
nursing interventions accurately and timely/n - Perform patient and
family education, assessing learning needs and teaching care plans
and discharge instructions/n - Address complex psychological,
emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families as
part of a multidisciplinary team/n - Delegate tasks appropriately
and collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and
