Job Description:
Epic Special Education Staffing is currently seeking a
compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team
dedicated to supporting students with special needs in a school
setting. This role focuses on helping students enhance motor
skills, improve physical disabilities, and achieve greater
independence through tailored therapy programs. By joining Epic

Assess student needs and develop treatment plans to enhance
physical functioning and independence. Implement physical therapy
interventions tailored to individual student needs within the
school environment. Regularly monitor and document progress,
adapting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with educational
staff and families to integrate physical therapy with educational
goals. Consult and train teaching staff on appropriate physical
supports and accommodations for students. Participate in
multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan for student
needs. Ensure compliance with all national and state regulations
regarding school-based physical therapy. Strong understanding of
pediatric physical therapy techniques and practices. Ability to
design and implement creative and effective therapy strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork and
family engagement. Strong organizational skills with the ability to
manage multiple cases efficiently. Proficiency in using technology
for therapy and documentation. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license in physical therapy.
Pediatric practice certifications preferred.
