Director of ICU Full-Time Permanent Position Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico (Zip 88011) Schedule: Full-Time, Permanent Lead our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with strategic vision and operational excellence. Oversee clinical operations, foster a culture of quality and safety, and drive team performance in a high-acuity for-profit hospital environment. Key Responsibilities: Direct all ICU operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory standards. Build and mentor high-performing teams focused on quality initiatives, patient safety, and outcomes improvement. Facilitate relationships with providers, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics for ICU services. Ensure adherence to Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulations; lead accreditation efforts. Manage fiscal responsibilities, resource allocation, and continuous quality improvement programs. Collaborate with hospital leadership on strategic planning, throughput, and capacity management. Promote professional development, retention, and evidence-based practices among staff. Required Qualifications: Current or eligible New Mexico RN license. 7 years healthcare experience, including 3 years in a leadership role. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Proven experience building teams focused on quality initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, MBA). Experience in a for-profit hospital.
