Cerner Key Responsibilities: Urology Call Coverage: Provide
comprehensive urological care during call shifts, addressing urgent
and emergent cases. Manage inpatient consultations and offer expert
guidance on urological issues. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary
team to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Inpatient
Setting: Work within a hospital environment that requires rapid and
accurate decision-making. Handle admissions related to urological
conditions, ensuring proper documentation and patient management
through the Cerner EMR system. Engage in patient rounds as
necessary, though the primary focus will be on call coverage.
Practice Details: Call Coverage: Provide exclusive call coverage
with no outpatient responsibilities, allowing you to focus on
critical inpatient needs. Be available for emergencies and urgent
cases as they arise, ensuring that patients receive timely and
effective care. Work Schedule: This is a short-term assignment with
the potential for extension based on mutual agreement. The
assignment covers key holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of
July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
The expected start date is September 3, 2024, with ongoing
opportunities available thereafter. Requirements: Licensure: Must
hold a current Texas state medical license. Board Certification:
Required for this position, ensuring that you meet the highest
standards of urological care. Certifications: No additional
certifications (ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS) are required for this
position. Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30
days, allowing for a swift onboarding process. Temporary privileges
