Mexico Position Title: Travel RN – MedSurg / Orthopedics Location:
Alamogordo, NM Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days | 7:00 AM –
7:00 PM (3x12s) Position Type: Travel – Full Time Urgency: High
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (based on shift pattern) Unit / Patient
Population - MedSurg / Orthopedics - Orthopedic and post-surgical
patients including: - Joint replacements - Fractures - Shoulder
surgeries - Podiatry cases Job Description The RN practices
independently in a MedSurg/Orthopedic setting, providing routine to
complex patient care. The nurse demonstrates sound clinical
judgment, manages patient care plans, and appropriately delegates
tasks to support staff while ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities - Provide nursing care in accordance with ANA
Scope and Standards of Practice - Assess, plan, implement, and
evaluate patient care - Administer medications and treatments per
protocol and monitor patient response - Document patient history,
assessments, medications, and care provided - Address
psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients
and families - Educate patients and caregivers on care plans,
recovery, and resources - Collaborate effectively with the
interdisciplinary care team Requirements - License: Active New
Mexico RN license or Compact RN - Certification: BLS (AHA only) -
Experience: Minimum 1 year MedSurg or related specialty experience
