Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring recent critical care experience and an active TX or compact license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Position is in a 24-bed ICU within a hospital setting - Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Patient ratio is 2:1 - Equipment includes TABLO, Belmont/Level 1 rapid infuser, Camino/Integra ICP monitoring, Flo-trac, Rotoprone, ventilators, and invasive hemodynamic monitoring - Meditech is the EMR utilized - No call requirements - Rotating weekends required - No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius - Perform typical ICU procedures including code intubation, trauma interventions, and code resuscitation - Dress code requires Galaxy blue or Royal blue scrubs - Engagement with facility policies and guidelines is expected - Bilingual English/Spanish and trauma (TNCC/TCAR) experience are preferred - First time travelers are accepted /n /n Requirements/n - Active TX or compact RN license required - Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required; 3 or more years preferred - Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification required - Direct ICU experience is mandatory - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months - US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration - For candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri, two professional references are required; otherwise, one reference is required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-664052.
