with stepdown care experience to support patient needs in a
contract position based in Las Cruces, NM. This role involves
delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a medical
center that has been a cornerstone of healthcare in the region
since 1950. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care in a
stepdown unit, monitoring and managing complex cases transitioning
from intensive care. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to
ensure comprehensive care plans and patient safety. Administer
medications, perform assessments, and document care following
established protocols. Adhere to all required certifications and
state regulatory guidelines throughout assignment. Qualifications
and Desired Experience: Valid RN licensure with proven experience
in stepdown or progressive care nursing. Completion of required
certifications, including state-specific requirements prior to
start. Ability to comply with New Mexico state clinical staffing
regulations, including fingerprinting and background checks. Strong
clinical judgment and effective communication skills. Location:Las
