Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)
ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and
coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the
designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the
management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing
care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as
a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the
organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled
patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall
departmental performance. REQUIRED LICENSURE AND/OR CERTIFICATION
1. RN licensed in State of Texas/Compact. 2. BCLS certified 3.
Current ACLS REQUIRED EDUCATION: Associates Degree or BSN
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED (list required and preferred
separately 1 years applicable experience required Critical Care
Background Dysrhythmia Recognition Proficiency in EKG SKILLS,
KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Medical nursing unit experience preferred
Read and write basic English with basic skills necessary to
transfer physician orders Knowledge of body substance isolation
Ability to move in excess of 100 pounds with assistance from others
Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Basic
computer skills and proficiency Strong interpersonal,
organizational, and problem solving skil Las Palmas Medical Center
