POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the day to day
business operations of the EP/Biplane Lab/Cath Lab/Hybrid OR and
the oversight of personnel. This position provides direct patient
care and collaborates with other members of the health care
delivery team to deliver quality patient care, including assisting
in procedures. In collaboration with other members of the
management team, the clinical coordinator is responsible for the
ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided
in the department. The clinical coordinator also collaborates with
the Director regarding budgetary and strategic planning
opportunities for improvement. The clinical coordinator will assist
the Director in providing nursing leadership to the unit and
overseeing the clinical operations of the departments. Core
Competencies will be assessed in accordance to the units’ specific
patient population served. REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS -
Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. - Registered Nurse
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - Minimum of Diploma in Nursing
required - Minimum 3 years of Critical Care experience required
PREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS,
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: - Bachelor Degree in related field. -
EP/Cath experience Del Sol Medical Center is a full service,
acute-care hospital in east El Paso, Texas. We have a Level II
trauma designation. This facility has 300 patient beds. Our range
of services include emergency care, cardiac care, women’s services,
Level III NICU, rehabilitation, a bariatric clinic, and a Minimally
