Job Description:
HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and
Delivery for a travel nursing job in Silver City, New Mexico. Labor
and Delivery ~ Discipline: RN ~ Shift: 12 hours, nights ~
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Facility: Gila Regional Medical Center Crisis Response Contract
Duration: 13 weeks Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM ~3 shifts per
week, including mandatory weekend work ~ Overtime (OT) after 40
hours: $75 Per Hour We are seeking a compassionate and skilled
Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery unit at Gila
Regional Medical Center. This is a night shift role requiring 3
consecutive 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), including mandatory
weekend coverage. The nurse will provide high-quality care in
Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP), Mother/Baby units,
and the Level I Nursery. Deliver comprehensive nursing care to
neonates, adolescents, and adult patients throughout the Labor and
Delivery continuum. Provide care in antepartum, labor and delivery,
postpartum, mother/baby couplet care, and neonatal care in the
delivery room. Monitor fetal and maternal well-being, including
performing APGAR scoring and assisting with vaginal and cesarean
deliveries. Manage labor and delivery processes with proficiency
and confidence, supporting the healthcare team. Utilize Meditech or
a comparable EMR system for accurate documentation of patient care
and clinical activities. Respond promptly to on-call duties,
arriving at the facility within 30 minutes if required. Maintain
adherence to all hospital policies, infection control standards,
and Joint Commission requirements. AWHONN Intermediate (Association
of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses Intermediate)
Active New Mexico RN license or multi-state compact license.
First-time travel nurses accepted. Minimum clinical competency in
labor and delivery and neonatal care settings
(LDRP/Mother/Baby/Couplets/Nursery). Proficiency with Meditech or a
comparable electronic medical record system preferred. Ability to
work night shifts (3x12 hour shifts) and weekends without
exception. Local candidates within 70 miles of Silver City, NM are
NOT accepted (local radius rule applies). Facility Details: Type:
