Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an
associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional
requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of
hire.
ACLS is preferred.
One year of experience preferred.
Department/Unit Summary
Join our team in a 34 room Medical Surgical unit, located on the
3rd floor, where you will provide compassionate care to patients
alongside a dedicated team of RNs, LPNs, CMAs and CNAs. With a 1:5
to 1:6 nurse to patient ratio, you will perform plans of care
intervention, including medication administration, specimen
collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care
treatment. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate
patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and
spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Accepts and embodies the role
of leader at the point of care delivery. Maintains a focus on care
and service to patients and families. Evaluates, coaches and
counsels the team members assigned.Qualifications:
