Job Title: Advanced Radiology TechnologistThe Hospitals of Providence is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in El Paso, Texas.Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to administer ionizing radiation, operate x-ray equipment, and take diagnostic radiographs. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of radiographic techniques, radiation protection, anatomy, positioning, medical terminology, and radiographic physics.Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation and operate x-ray equipment to take diagnostic radiographs.
• Provide patient services utilizing diagnostic imaging modalities.
• Practice sterile technique when required.
• Develop and implement radiographic procedures to ensure high-quality images.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A formal accredited Radiology Technology Program.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (RT).
  • An additional registration by the American Registry in (CT) or (M) or (NM) or (MR).
  • Texas Medical Board in Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT).
