Summary The Radiology department Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for the patient having invasive radiologic procedure. The Radiology Department Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge in accessing, planning and coordinating the care of these patients. The Radiology RN participates in patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting Qualifications Minimum Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Documents such as degree/diploma obtained and/or official or non-official transcripts stating degree obtained and date of graduation must be obtained in file. Required Licenses/Certifications
  • Texas RN license (non-expired)
  • BLS Required
  • ACLS, and PALS preferred Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
