  To provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. To collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Current RN licensure in Texas--Required
  • BCLS certified--Required
  • ACLS certified--Required
    • Note: ACLS needs to be completed within 6 month after hire dateEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
      • Bachelors in Nursing Science-Preferred
      • Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing--RequiredCERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
        • 2 years of Medical Nursing or Orthopedic Nursing experience--Preferred
        • Medical Surgical ANCC Certification or ANCC Orthopedic Nurse Certification--Preferred
        • Reads and writes basic English--Required
        • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.--Required
        • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills--Required
        • Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partner needs.--Required
        • Basic computer skills and proficiency--Required -is a full service, acute-care hospital in east El Paso, Texas. We have a Level II trauma designation. This facility has 300+ patient beds. Our include emergency care, cardiac care, women's services, Level III NICU, rehabilitation, a , and a Minimally Invasive Surgery Center.
