Summary:The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for providing clinical counseling service and case management service to children in an on-site children's residential facility in support of family reunification services for children.Reports to:--- Lead Mental Health ClinicianMinimum Qualifications:--- Bilingual in both Spanish and English.--- Master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement.--- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years clinical employment experience can be substituted for an advanced degree.--- One (1) year of pediatric mental health experience.--- Licensed or license eligibleDuties and Responsibilities:--- Conduct patient assessments.--- Providing individual therapy to patients and help making positive behavior changes, setting treatment plans, arranging referrals.--- Provide psychological therapy,--- Determining the strength and weakness of the patient,--- Provide direct therapy, attend case conferences and sending reports to medical professionals.--- Conducts and documents ORR unaccompanied child (UC) assessments in accordance with ORR policies and procedures.--- Reports significant incidents in accordance with ORR policies and procedures.--- Works closely with counselors and care coordinators to ensure communication.--- Maintains the ORR Database in accordance with ORR policies and procedures.--- Assists in active implementation of company initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA VPP, ISO, JCAHO, AAAHC, and other mandated regulations/standards.--- Ensures safe operating conditions within area of responsibility.--- Encourages co-workers to work safely.--- Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:--- Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized, and have excellent verbal and communication skills.--- Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required.If you do not find interest in this opportunity but know of someone who may, we kindly ask that you refer the individual to RWD Consulting, LLC by forwarding this job posting.Established in 2004, RWD Consulting, LLC (RWD) provides tomorrow's solutions today.
