We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsPOSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of an RN, the LVN staff nurse provides nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family and other members of the health care team, the 3 West LVN plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates the plan of care
  What qualifications you will need:
  LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Current LVN Licensure that allows the practice in the state of Texas or Compact state--Required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification --Required.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
    • High school Diploma-RequiredCERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
      • Medical/Surgical Nursing experience--Preferred
      • IV certification preferred
      • Reads and writes basic English--Required
      • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.--Required
      • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills--Required
      • Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partner needs.--Required
      • Basic computer skills and proficiency--RequiredThis role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).Del Sol Medical Center is a full service, acute-care hospital in east El Paso, Texas.
