We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsPOSITION SUMMARY: The LVN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare and the Texas Board of Nursing . In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family and other members of the health care team, the clinical LVN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse in the delivery of patient care.What qualifications you will need:
  REQUIRED LICENSURE AND/OR CERTIFICATION
  • LVN licensed in state of Texas or Compact State
  • BCLS certified.PREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
    
    • Preferred experience as LVN 1-2 years Med-Surg.
    • Specialty certification/training as appropriate.
    • Read and write Basic English with the basic skills necessary to understand and transfer physician's orders.
    • Ability to move an excess of 100 pounds, with assistance from other staff.
    • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Computer skills.
    • Ability to work as a team member within a team to ensure quality patient care.This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).Las Palmas Medical Center is a 300+ bed full-service hospital in El Paso.
