A trusted healthcare facility in West Texas is looking for an experienced Nurse Director Labor and Delivery to join their dedicated hospital staff.This state-of-the-art healthcare facility has over 400 beds and provides a wide range of acute care services to its community. The Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will be joining a hospital that is Joint Commission Accredited, and has received numerous awards both nationally and state-wide for Excellence in Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality. This facility also holds Level III Trauma and Level IV Maternal Designations. -The Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will report directly to the hospital's Chief Nursing Officer. They will be supported by a talented and experienced team of Nurse Managers, RN Supervisors, and Labor and Delivery Staff Nurses. The Nurse Director will also coordinate with other departmental leaders across the hospital to ensure the highest quality of patient care is received. -The RN Director Women's Services will be providing oversight and leadership to the facility's Department of Women's Services. This department offers a variety of services including Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, Perinatal, Maternal Child Health, and Antepartum services. This facility holds a Level IV Maternal designation and sees up to 1,800 births annually.The Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will provide the necessary oversight and leadership of all nursing services within the designated unit. They will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and execution of departmental nursing practices and will support the CNO in securing adherence to all hospital policies and procedures. The Nurse Director will also serve as a mentor and teacher to other hospital staff to ensure maximum competency and patient safety.The RN Director Women's Services will be working and living in historic West Texas, a historic landmark of the Southwest.
