Employee Benefits Administrator The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the day to day administration and compliance of the Company---s various benefit plans and programs which may include but are not limited to: Health, Life Insurance, Dental, Vision Care, Prescription Drug, Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, Short Term Disability Insurance, and Long-Term Disability Insurance, 401(k), Workers--- Compensation, Flexible Spending Accounts, Stop-Loss Insurance programs, and Wellness / Employee Assistance Program, and other fringe benefits. The Employee Benefits Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties relating to the administration of employee benefits plans for corporate staff, as well as responding to inquiries or requests from clients and their employees. dmDickason is a Human Resource Outsourcing Company. In addition to Payroll, HR, Safety & Risk Management Services, we offer our Clients a full line of Employee Group Health Benefit programs for their employees; and; more than that, we coordinate their entire benefit program for them so that they can focus on what they do best....run their business. Work closely with the Implementation and Brokerage departments to set up and roll out benefit programs for clients and with Payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions for employees. Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in employee benefits administration / Insurance paperwork and lots of details.
  • Familiar with benefits administration for various group plans: medical, dental, vision, short- and long- term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts/Section 125, health savings account, etc.;
  • Any experience in preparing / filing ACA / IRS required large employer group (over 50 employees) health plan IRS Forms 1094-C and 1095-C a big plus.
  • Life & Health license helpful;
    • Proficient working knowledge and understanding of group health insurance plans, eligibility requirements, plan features, Section 125, COBRA, HSA, and HIPAA compliance;
    • Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish Need to hire ASAP!       • Assist benefits manager and benefits administrator
      • Assisting with enrollment of benefits
      • Execute the annual benefits enrollment process
      • Conduct employee benefits information presentations
      • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits
      • Inform employees about benefits by explaining benefit programs
      • Prepare payroll and benefits reports
      • Assist employees with benefits related questions
      • Explain benefits self-enrollment system to new employees
      • Conduct monthly new employee benefit orientation
      • Orient new employees to payroll and benefits
      • Tracking monthly benefit costs and auditing benefit plan enrollment
      • Conduct orientation programs on benefits
      • Resolve benefits issues and claims
      • Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files
      • Administer benefits enrollment to all new hires
      • Facilitate resolution of employee benefits issues
      • Assist the benefits specialist with annual open enrollment
