This medical center has an Accredited Chest Pain Program with PCI and Accredited Heart Failure Program. It has been nationally recognized with an 'A' by Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade and received Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Quality Approval. The facility that has been a staple of the community for years, and the incoming Cath Lab RN will play a large role in keeping it that way.The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) reports to the Cath Lab Manager and is supported by a wonderful team of Cath Lab Nurses and Radiologic Technologists. This hospital has three, fully equipped catheterization labs as well as a preparation and recovery unit. The highly trained cardiac cath teams are able to perform peripheral and cardiac procedures. Some procedures performed in the Cath Lab include Pacemaker Implantation, Angioplasty, Reveal Loop Recorder Implantation, and more. South New Mexico offers epic blue skies, snowy mountain peaks, incredible sea of sand at White Sands National Monument, and the magnificent spectacle of Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The Cath Lab RN can take a trip to the past at the Billy the Kid Museum in Fort Sumner and let the Wild West come to life.
