Las Palmas Medical Center has special expertise in Emergency Room
Medicine (Level III Trauma), Cardiology, Women's Services, Labor &
Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Neuroscience, Pediatric care,
Oncology Services, and Wound Care Management.
Las Palmas Medical Center has a free-standing 40-bed, inpatient
Rehabilitation Hospital, which treats patients with orthopedic
conditions, strokes and other neurological diagnoses, multiple
trauma, brain and spinal cord injury, arthritis and amputation.
Las Palmas Medical Center is the region's only Kidney Transplant
Center. In addition to our medical services, Las Palmas Medical
Center provides the Las Palmas LifeCare Center wellness
Responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling
the Adult service line function for Las Palmas Medical Center to
include 5N, 5S, and 6N. Advise hospital management regarding the
status of patient care, budgetary projections, quality improvement
processes and human resource applications. Anticipate and estimate
future needs of the organization needed to improve quality of
patient care. To collaborate and coordinate the efforts of leaders
within the organization to accomplish the mission of LPMC.
Plans, organizes, directs and controls programs in adult service
Formulates sound fiscal operations including the timely and
accurate compilation, analysis, development and publication of an
annual budget and the monitoring of implementation.
Administer, analyze and appraise Quality Improvement and facilitate
interdepartmental Performance Improvement process through the

agendas and gather reports.
Control and authorize processes related to Human Resources,
including position control, job descriptions, professional
practice, recruitment and retention and employee evaluations.

ensure that high quality services are being rendered to patients
within assigned areas of responsibility.
Develops and motivates Department Directors and other key personnel
to optimize their talents and meet the overall needs and goals of
