highest quality care with compassion and integrity. POSITION
SUMMARY: To administer, analyze and appraise the care given to
patients within the Telemetry Department. To advise hospital
management regarding the status of patient care, budgetary
projections, quality improvement processes. To anticipate and
estimate future needs of the Telemetry Department to improve
quality of patient care. To collaborate and coordinate the efforts
of the staff of the Telemetry Department to support the mission and
accomplish the goals of Del Sol Medical Center. ESSENTIAL
- Develops and administers adult and geriatric patient care
services as necessary to include Telemetry nursing care.
- Promotes a multidisciplinary coordination of services, such as,
nursing, medical, respiratory care, laboratory, pharmaceutical and

- Administer and appraise Quality Improvement within the services

Required: Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION Required: Current RN licensure in Texas or
compact state required, BCLS, and ACLS. EXPERIENCE Required:
Minimum of two years clinical experience. Preferred: Experience in
leadership positions or positions of increasing responsibility.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES Ability to read, write and
communicate articulately in English
Knowledge of body substance isolation

internal and external partners, managerial and employee needs.

Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
