Job SummaryThe Director of Cath Lab Operations is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic development and implementation of programs and services within the Catheterization Laboratory. This role requires a strong nursing professional with expertise in program development, assessment, and evaluation, as well as experience in leading multiple cost centers/departments to achieve hospital and network objectives.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs and services that align with the hospital's business plan and strategic objectives.
• Oversee and direct multiple cost centers/departments to achieve hospital and network objectives.
• Function in an advisory capacity to develop and evaluate proposed procedural changes related to patient care.
• Direct the implementation and ensure compliance with Standards of Care that promote optimum healthcare delivery.
• Closely monitor profit and loss, revenue generation, and expenditure control, and adjust staffing and other resources to optimize operations and streamline costs.Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, Master's degree preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid Texas RN License (current state registration).
  • BLS certification.
  • Any other certifications required for staff nurses in areas managed.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a leadership/supervisory capacity.
