Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A position is
available for experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to
provide essential communication services to students in a vibrant
school district located in El Paso, TX. This on-site,
travel-required role offers the opportunity to serve PreK through
12th-grade students, focusing primarily on high school populations.
Candidates will play a critical role in addressing a significant
service backlog, ensuring students receive the support they need to
progress academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
speech-language services to students from PreK to 12th grade, with
primary focus on high school aged children. Manage a caseload of
approximately 64 students plus backlog cleanup or 40 students for
K-8, depending on assignment. Review and update Individualized
Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure compliance with relevant
educational standards. Implement intervention plans for students
lacking services, requiring considerable catch-up efforts.
Collaborate with school personnel to coordinate and optimize speech
therapy delivery. Maintain accurate records and documentation of
student progress and services provided. Preferred Qualifications
and Experience: Valid State Speech Language Pathologist licensure
with current credentials. Experience working in school settings
serving diverse student populations. Ability to manage large
caseloads and perform backlogged service clean-up. Bilingual skills
are advantageous but not mandatory. Strong organizational and
communication skills. Location: El Paso, Texas (Lower Valley and
Northeast regions of I10 area). Additional Information: Full-time
work week at 37.5 hours; part-time may be considered but requires
full-day availability. Assignments may involve one or two schools
depending on candidate preference. Immediate availability preferred
with contract through June 12, 2026. Competitive compensation is
