(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A position is available for a skilled Sign Language
Interpreter to support communication needs in an educational
setting located in Chaparral, NM. This role involves providing
interpreting services within a school environment, facilitating
effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students,
staff, and peers. The position requires travel to different school
sites as part of the responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
Interpret spoken and signed communication accurately in real-time
during classroom instruction and school activities Facilitate
effective communication in meetings, parent-teacher conferences,
and school events Collaborate with teachers and support staff to
ensure accessibility of educational content for students with
hearing impairments Maintain confidentiality and professional
standards in all interactions Travel to assigned school locations
as required Qualifications: Proficient fluency in American Sign
Language (ASL) with the ability to interpret complex educational
material Experience working as a sign language interpreter in
school settings preferred Strong understanding of Deaf culture and
