Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide
specialized speech-language pathology services in a K-12 school
setting located in the El Paso area, focusing on comprehensive
support for students from PreK through 12th grade. This role offers
an opportunity to make a significant positive impact by addressing
a backlog of communication service needs and supporting
individualized education programs (IEPs). Responsibilities include:
Delivering direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse
student caseload, primarily within high school settings, with some
opportunities in K-8 schools. Managing and reducing an extensive
backlog of services, some students having missed a full year or
month of speech-language support. Conducting assessments, updating
and maintaining detailed IEP documentation. Collaborating with
educators and families to develop and implement effective
communication interventions. Ensuring compliance with state
licensure requirements and school policies. Qualifications and
experience: Valid State Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Licensure.
Previous experience working in school environments is preferred.
Ability to manage large caseloads efficiently (caseloads ranging
from 40 to 64 students). Strong organizational and communication
skills to handle therapy backlog and IEP processes effectively.
Bilingual candidates highly valued for their ability to serve
diverse student populations, though monolingual professionals are
also encouraged to apply. Flexibility to work full days on-site in
either one or two school locations, as assigned. Location: On-site
positions available in the Lower Valley area of El Paso, TX, south
and northeast of I-10. This contract-based assignment runs from as
soon as possible through June 12, 2026, with a standard 37.5-hour
workweek. Part-time consideration is possible but requires full-day
