Job Description:


The Receptionist is the first contact to greet visitors by phone and in person. The Receptionist will primarily answer a multi-line telephone system and greet visitors in a timely, pleasant, and professional manner and provide information and assistance to the Human Resource Departments as needed.


  • Performs administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
  • Utilizes technology to perform tasks efficiently
  • Route incoming and outgoing packages accordingly
  • Manage conference room calendars, resolve any conflicts
  • Order front desk supplies as needed.
  • Coordinates breakfast and/or lunches for meetings (with Executive Assistant) and ensure cleanliness of conference rooms in the front reception area
  • Update front desk forms
  • Provide administrative support for "special projects" as assigned by Human Resources.
  • Greets visitors or callers and determines the nature of their visit; issues guest badges/maintains visitor logs; alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with policies and procedures
  • Stock lobby refrigerator/coffee bar throughout the with essential items
  • Ensure commons area remains presentable
  • Monitor outside gate and provide access to guests as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned


    • High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree highly preferred
    • 1-3 years of experience as a Receptionist in a professional business environment
    • Must work be a self-starter and work independently
    • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Must be punctual, with solid time management skills
    • Experience in an office environment
    • Detail and customer service orientation
      Ability to:

      • Operate multi telephone system and paging system
      • Be meticulous to detail (s)
      • Problem solve
      • Be proactive
      • Absorb new ideas and concepts quickly
      • Prioritize and multitask
      • Draft inter office correspondences via email
        Working Knowledge of:

        • Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
        • Multi system phone line
        • Overhead paging system

          The employee is required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

          Works in a normal office environment. May work protracted or irregular hours. Flexibility to work irregular hours due to client needs. Work responsibilities require out of town travel to Raba Kisnter offices, client offices and project locations.
