We are seeking a Board Certified General Surgeon for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This position is strictly Call Only, offering maximum schedule flexibility without daily clinic responsibilities.

Assignment Details

Coverage Type: Call Only (24-Hour Beeper Call)

Clinical Setting & Volume

Practice Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-based
EMR: Medhost
Scope: Bread-and-butter general surgery; typical call responsibilities include emergency consults, rounding on surgical patients, and emergent procedures.

Requirements

Certification: Board Certified (BC) in General Surgery.
Life Support: Active ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Licensure: Active New Mexico (NM) state medical license.
