Overview









The Control Towers Billing Manager will supervise AIT's billing operations, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of billings. This role is responsible for completing timely invoicing of customer activity, posting task and providing weekly, monthly results of the invoicing activity. Establishing and administering the groups SLAs & KPIs. Communicate with various internal stakeholders to include, Stations Managers, Finance Managers, Regional Manager, Regional Directors related to invoicing, and financial topics. Provide guidance and oversight to team members, support training and developments for the team members.













Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with billing and invoicing processes including: Information verification, monitoring customer accounts, and resolving billing discrepancies
• Lead a team of agents that perform invoicing function and coordinate their daily activities
• Establish administer and maintain KPIs and SLA for the invoicing group.
• Maintain historical records and file / documents with scanning department.
• Assist other stations with ad hoc invoice inquiries
• Work closely with AIT's teams to improve billing processes and automated systems
• Establish SLA & KRI governance performance standards
• Ensure effective resolution of billing disputes
• Lead the analysis of contracts to ensure billing is performed in compliance with all contract terms
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
• Manage the communication of payment schedules, deferments, and the nature of indebtedness
• Liaz with various primary stakeholders to include Finance Managers, Station Managers, Regional Directors concerning the topic of finance and invoicing

  Education Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree Business Administration Required Experience Qualifications
    • 7+ years freight forwarding experience, with large scale operational background, and 7+ years of progressive leadership roles. Required
    • 7+ years Supervisory or managerial experience Required
    • 7+ years Industry experience - Logistics environment with international and domestic experience Required
    • 5+ years Experience in billing or invoicing operations Required Skills and Abilities
      • Proven ability to lead and manage the activities of a diverse workforce. (High proficiency)
      • Microsoft Office Suite (Medium proficiency)
      • Ability to plan, review, supervise, and inspect the work of others. (High proficiency)
      • Time management skills (High proficiency)
      • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (High proficiency)
